grout and rock nz is a drilling and grouting contractor completing ground engineering projects throughout new zealand. our services are comprehensive and our extensive experience allows us to design the best methodology to suit your specific project and requirements. Micro piles, earth anchors, slope stabilisation, grout injection, void fill soil nails and more.

drill drain

The drill drain filter nail system is used for the control of slope seepage water, reducing hydrostatic pressure while retaining the positive soil properties.

ground anchors

We offer a variety of methods and techniques for stabilising a range of slope types and situations including rock bolting and soil nails.

mechanical anchors

Our mechanical anchors can be installed into displaceable soils. Minimal disturbance of the soil is created and they can be tested to an exact holding capacity and made fully operational immediately. It is a completely dry system meaning no need for drilling or grout.

grouting

We offer a variety of grouting methods and techniques for a range of situations including ground strengthening of weak soils, slab void filling and re-levelling and foundation grouting. We offer a high pressure grout pump capable of reaching 1000psi.

anchor testing

Grout and Rock NZ has the right equipment and technology to complete anchor testing for many different anchor types including rock bolts, mechanical anchors, bar anchors, soil nails, multi-strand anchors and micro piles.

self drilling anchors

We use the Ischebeck Titan self-drilling injection micropile which is one of the most effective and economic means of piling. They can be used as tension piles, micropiles and root piles (pali radice) in practically every micropiling situation. Steel tendon and grout body provide exceptional strength to withstand both compression and/or tension forces. These self-drilling injection micropiles are particularly suited to projects where difficult ground conditions are experienced or where space/access is limited.

rock bolting

This system is used to improve the stability of rock masses. They can be used in applications such as cliff slope stabilisation, fixing rock netting, in structural repairs on retaining walls, bridge spandrel walls and tunnels.

soil nails

Soil nails can be a effective and cost effective way to reinforce soil. This method can be used in a variety of situations including slope stabilisation, embankments, retaining walls, cliffs, construction of new steep slopes for widening of infrastructure routes, new developments etc. It is suitable for both temporary and permanent applications.

void filling

Our void filling service fills in spaces under concrete floor slab that have appeared after the earthquakes using grout fill under pressure. Voids can appear due to settlement or earthquakes compacting the material/earth under the slab.

house re-levelling

We offer a house re-levelling service including pile replacement, foundation re-levelling, foundation crack repair (crack injection), overpinning or underpinning.
